Volunteering at PUSD
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Plumas Unified School District! Before you may volunteer or transport students—including your own child to or from a school-sponsored activity, you must complete the applicable steps below.
Step 1: Complete Fingerprinting
Step 2: Complete the Volunteer Agreement
Step 3: Complete Mandated Reporter Training
Step 4: Complete the Volunteer Driver Application, if Applicable
How Often Must These Requirements Be Completed?
Fingerprinting: Does not need to be completed every year. Once cleared, your fingerprints remain valid as long as you continue volunteering with PUSD.
Volunteer Agreement: Remains valid while you continue volunteering with PUSD.
Mandated Reporter Training: Must be completed every school year.
Volunteer Driver Application: Must be completed every school year, but only if you plan to drive.
Once you complete all applicable requirements and receive confirmation of your clearance, you may begin volunteering and, if approved, transporting students.
