Our juniors and seniors had a great experience at Feather River College's College & Career Fair on September 17. They heard from local professionals who shared their unique career paths. A common theme throughout the presentations was that career paths are rarely straightforward, and that many routes—including those outside traditional college education—can lead to rewarding careers.
Students also attended breakout sessions on topics like "Building Your Brand" and "Earn & Learn," and connected with colleges in California, Oregon, and Nevada, as well as employers like Sierra Pacific Industries, Quincy Fire Department, Plumas Bank, Plumas County, and USFS Plumas.
FRC had representatives from their programs like Science, English, Environmental Studies, Fire, Equine, Mathematics, and Nursing available as well.
A valuable day for exploring future opportunities!
