Year of the Watershed 6th graders take to the river

Preparing to launch

Another adventure for our intrepid Year of the Watershed 6th graders! This week, they rafted the East Branch of the North Fork of the Feather River under the expert guidance of FRC's Outdoor Recreation Leadership students. Being on the river brings classroom lessons to life, and builds appreciation for our beautiful county.

Days like these happen due to collaboration with our educational partner Feather River College, and the efforts of staff, families, and our Outdoor Education Coordinator Rob Wade. Thank you to everyone who supports our students!
