Plumas Unified School District students and staff are wrapping up the last few days of the 2025-26 school year, preparing for summer and the chance to enjoy summer break.
The last three days of school, June 10 - June 12, are early release for all students in the district. Schools will communicate specific release times to their families. The last day of school is Friday, June 12.
Graduations
Our Class of 2026 commencement ceremonies are on Friday, June 12.
- Portola Jr/Sr High School’s graduation is 5:00 pm at the Bob Wise Memorial Football Stadium (football field.) Make advance arrangements for handicapped parking by calling PJSHS at (530) 832-4284. There is abundant seating and all are welcome.
- At 6:00 pm, Quincy Jr/Sr High School holds their ceremony at the Feather River College Football Stadium. Parking is available in both the upper (gymnasium) and the lower (baseball field) parking lots. Reserved seating on the football field is for the guest of graduates only. All other seating is in the grandstands.
- Chester Jr/Sr High’s graduation is 7:00 pm on the CJSHS football field.
Promotions
Sixth grade promotion ceremonies are on Thursday, June 11.
- C. Roy Carmichael Elementary’s promotion event is 5:30 pm.
- Quincy Elementary promotes their sixth graders on the Upper Terrace at 6:00 pm. QES fifth graders have a promotion ceremony on Wednesday, June 10 at 6:00 pm, as the sixth grade program moves to the Quincy Jr/Sr High School campus next year.
- Greenville Elementary sixth grade promotion is scheduled for 6:00 pm in the GES cafeteria.
- Chester Elementary holds their promotion ceremony in the CES gym at 6:00 pm.
