Staff Welcome Guide

• Regular pay for most employees is once a month, on the last business day of the month. 
• Substitute pay and extra duty is on the 10th or the nearest previous business day if it lands on a weekend or holiday.

We use the Frontline Absence Reporting Portal for reporting certificated absences.

You have a few options for reporting an absence:

• Use the Frontline app on your phone
• Log in through a computer
• Or call in your absence using the automated phone system
  If you choose to call in, your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number.

Certificated staff will continue using Frontline to report absences—no change is needed.
10-month classified employees working summer school should continue submitting an Extra Duty timesheet.
12-month employees should continue using Frontline year-round.

Make sure you've completed all the necessary Keenan Safety training by logging into the Keenan portal.

 

Your login is the first initial of your first name and your complete last name with no spaces.

 

Example: if your name is Keenan Portal, your login will be kportal

 

Based on the name, it's easy to think our communication platform ParentSquare is just for families.

 

However, we use it to communicate with everyone, including staff. By downloading the free app, you'll have all staff communications in one place. Use the notifications settings to change how or if you get notified of new messages. Email messages will still be delivered to your staff email account regardless of notification settings.
