Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year at Plumas County Office of Education and Plumas Unified School District!

We want to thank you for bringing your enthusiasm, expertise, and tenacity to our schools- we’re so glad you’re part of our team. We've gathered a few of our most requested resources on this page to help you get settled in.

Payroll

Absence Reporting through Frontline Portal

We use the Frontline Absence Reporting Portal for reporting absences.

You have a few options for reporting an absence:

Use the Frontline app on your phone
Log in through a computer
Or call in your absence using the automated phone system
If you choose to call in, your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number.

There is also an Absent from Duty form available through Informed K-12 that can be used if needed.

Certificated staff will continue using Frontline to report absences—no change is needed.
10-month classified employees working summer school should continue submitting an Extra Duty timesheet.
12-month employees should continue using Frontline year-round.

Employee Portal for your payroll information

Make sure to check out the Employee portal - a great resource for all things payroll-related. You’ll find past pay stubs, as well as sick leave/vacation balances and more.

The login link is available under the "Staff Resources" tab on this website.

First time logging in? You’ll need to use the “create new user” link to set up your login info (see screenshot below). For assistance with creating your login, please contact Chris Retallack in Payroll at [email protected]

Driving PCOE/PUSD Vehicles

Every year, all employees who will be driving PCOE/PUSD vehicles must provide the following information to our Transportation department, emailed to Theresa Belsher-Howe, [email protected]

Copy of front and back of current Driver License
Current Driver Record from the California Department of Motor Vehicles
Completed Part 1 of Employee Driver form - download link below

(Fill out Part 2 if you plan to drive your personal vehicle as well as district vehicles)
