What age does my child need to be for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten (TK)?
- Kindergarten: If your child turns 5 on or before September 1, 2024, they can start Kindergarten this fall.
- Transitional Kindergarten (TK): If your child turns 5 on or between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025, they can join our TK program. If your child turns 5 after June 2, 2025, they are not eligible for the 2024-25 TK program, but can enroll next year for the 2025-26 Kindergarten program.
When is the first day of school for 2024-25?
- Monday, August 26, 2024 is the first day of the 2024-25 school year.

Are school meals free?
- Yes! All students 18 and younger in Plumas County receive free breakfast and lunch at school.
- There is no sign up required.

How do I sign my student up to ride the school bus?
- Students ride the school bus for free.
- Parents/guardians must fill out this form first.
- 2023-24 School Bus Routes (will be updated for the 2024-25 school year over the summer)

Have you moved or changed your phone number or email address? Please update all your information on the Parent Portal so that we can contact you if needed. Without accurate, current information, school staff may have trouble reaching you.
