A child must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2024 to enter Kindergarten. (EC Section 48000[a])
A child must be age 5 on or between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025 to enter Transitional Kindergarten (as available). Further TK enrollment information below.
- Monday, August 26, 2024 is the first day of the 2024-25 school year.
- Kindergarten will be a full school day
- Transitional Kindergarten will end at noon daily
- After school care until 6PM available daily at all elementary school sites

- Proof of residence within school district boundaries
- Immunization record
- Verification of child’s age, any of the following: birth record, birth certificate, passport, or affidavit of parent, guardian, or family member
Students transferring into the district from another district or state will need their immunization records and should provide a recent report card. Contact the individual school about registration for transfer students.
Please be sure to review the Parent-Student Handbook for important information. This will be distributed from the school sites annually at the start of each school year.
