After School Enrichment and Meal Programs

When school is out and parents are still at work, children need a safe place to be with their friends, with structured activities, supportive adults, and good nutrition. Afterschool programs that participate in CACFP give children and teenagers the nutrition they need, and draw them into constructive activities that are safe, fun, and filled with opportunities for learning. Chester Elementary, Greenville Elementary, Quincy Elementary @Pioneer Campus and C.Roy Carmichael Elementary operate After School programs. Reach out to your school site to sign up for the after school program.
The Nutrition Services department serves meals to 9 school sites within Plumas County, serving an average of 2000 meals daily.  Menus are listed above for Elementary and Jr/Sr High Schools.
