Nutritional Guidelines

Here you can find information and links on the guidelines, regulations and policies followed by PUSD Food Services Department.

All Food Service Staff work diligently to meet all nutritional and food safety standards while preparing many food items from scratch. Over the last couple of years we have incorporated whole grains into our recipes, reduced the amount of sugars served and offer Salad Bars at many of the school sites. We continually strive to make positive changes in your students school meals. Sourcing locally when seasonally available has been a high priority in recent years as we continue to create and establish healthy eating choices for all.
