everyday I wish myself I always compare it's like the things in The Goonies like you can't beat that small-town your you go to all the movies that I love growing up like Hocus Pocus from The Goonies and he was all the small town and your kids can ride the bikes there down the street and they can you know go to people's houses and you don't have to worry about it and you get those small town feeling so pissed you going to grocery store people ask about you and you go to the Post Office and they're waiting for you and there's nowhere else I'd rather live in Plymouth County there's nowhere else I'd rather be than Chester and my family feels the same way there's two things that you you can't get in a big city that you get here and it's all about those relationship pieces one of the benefits teaching in a small town with this type of community is that you have Airport from not only other teachers in administration but everybody in the town when I moved back to Quincy I described it as almost like the town gave me a hug It's a Wonderful opening case additionally it's absolutely beautiful I love the mountains I love the lake Isle of the hiking I wanted a house and a dog and now I own my own house and I have two dogs so it's a wonderful place for that kind of Lifestyle so what makes PUSD unique and one thing I can think of is VSS on Traditions that we uphold and maintain our schools are the hubs of our community that's where the action happens that's where the social life is I'm so honoring those Traditions are very important to all of our communities I don't think we're hanging on to the Past are moving forward with our theme for the school year this year we're looking the future and implementation of Next Generation science standards what we're doing with technology and rolling out one-to-one Computing for students I believe what makes this unique here in Plymouth is that we really are focused on relationship relationships with each other and all of our stakeholders we are working hard to allow everyone to have a Boys 3 aspire to be reflective pinker's and Learners provide KD to hold people accountable to build trust and transparency honesty and respect there's a culture of inclusion of support of your all in this together and that goes from the top superintendent's office to the bus drivers and the custodians and the people who support what's going on in the classroom part of that our staff were really a big family here work hard play hard we have a good time and we get the job done in a fight school district has been a wonderful place to work I've been a special education teacher for approximately 5 years Dave value every student disabilities and we are always trying and working our hardest to create Equity within the classrooms with all of our students students are granted faces you deceived walking out the door walking tell me where you how do you students here for a very long time Raiders I started with two years ago in school are now my 9th graders and their signs I'm going to have the same and creators who made me come top graders in chemistry and physics and Physiology it's a very interesting and unique opportunity to do that cuz really get to know students still working here  high school I have had the opportunity to work with nicer people ever worked with in my life and I mean that I've been all over the state work with lots of people and this is one of the best group of people I have ever worked for and I can't I say that all day long it's really true if you're wondering about coming come on down or come on out come on over just show up because I only can be disappointed
