Insurance and Employee Benefits
Plumas Unified School District and Plumas County Office of Education offer a generous benefits package for their employees. Each package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. It is mandatory for all full-time employees to take the insurance package offered. Full-time is defined as 6 hours per day for Certificated and 7.5 hours per day for District classified employees. Insurance is not offered until an employee is working at least 15 hours per week. The District/County contributes $13068 per year to full-time employees. Those less then full-time receive a pro-rated amount.
